　　Apsaravis ukhaana は、モンゴル国ウムヌゴビ県(ウムヌは南の意)ウカー
　トルゴットで発見された鳥類です。Nature 409, 181-184 (2001)で報告
　されました。
　今回、その詳細な記載が報告されたわけです。また、その系統的位置づ
　けは、Hesperornithes＋Avesの姉妹群としています。
